Global Payments is offering the Associate Software Engineer position under its Private Jobs team in Pune, Maharashtra. The position operates under an In-Office model across 24×7 rotational shifts (Shift 1: 06:00–15:00 IST, Shift 2: 14:00–23:00 IST, Shift 3: 22:00–07:00 IST). Key responsibilities include: Support live payment applications, write SQL/PLSQL queries to debug issues, execute UNIX commands and shell scripts, operate job schedulers (CTM, Composer, $U), and work in rotational shifts for continuous improvement and process automation. Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: BE / B.Tech / M.Tech or similar (Minimum 16 years of formal education)
- Experience: 0–1 years of professional IT Production Support experience
- Must-Have Skill Sets: Good Python knowledge, SQL / PLSQL query writing & debugging, UNIX basic commands & scripting, Scheduling tool knowledge (CTM, Composer, $U)
- Desirable Skills: GCP / AWS / Azure cloud fundamentals, ABI working knowledge (issue fixing & code enhancement), Shell scripting
